Jane Anna Waide, MAI, serves as principal at Waide Appraisals, LLC. She focuses on the appraisal of commercial, retail, office, industrial, multi-family, and special-use properties,as well as land. She is a Certified General Appraiser, and holds the prestigious MAI commercial appraisal designation from the Appraisal Institute. Jane Anna is also a commercial real estate broker with Farmer Commercial Properties in Starkville, MS.
Prior to beginning her appraisal career, Jane Anna spent seven years in Washington, D.C., most of that time as a member of the staff of United States Senator Saxby Chambliss of Georgia. There, she worked on a variety of issues relevant to Senator Chambliss’s committee assignments, particularly with regard to agriculture and other issues that affect rural America.
Jane Anna is a native of Inverness, Mississippi. She earned her BA and MBA, both summa cum laude, from Mississippi State University. She was a member of Chi Omega sorority, served as President of the Stennis Montgomery Association, and was chosen as a Haley Barbour Scholar while an undergraduate. She continues her service to Mississippi State currently as a member of the Advisory Board for the Stennis Institute of Government. Jane Anna is married to Whit Waide, a professor at Mississippi State. They have two young daughters. The Waides attend the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Starkville, where Jane Anna serves on the Altar Guild.
